Dr. Hetznecker is board certified in child psychiatry and general psychiatry. He graduated from Temple University School of Medicine and finished his general psychiatry training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hetznecker completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He completed advanced fellowship training in family therapy with the Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center and cognitive therapy at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania and at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Therapy and Research. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, and the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. Dr. Hetznecker treats children, adolescents, and adults with a particular interest in combined psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
