Dr. Paskell is a psychiatrist who specializes in combined psychotherapy and medication management. She received her undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University and medical degree from University of Cincinnati. She completed psychiatric residency training at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Paskell has a particular interest in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic-oriented therapy. She has completed a Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Studies and is currently in training to become a psychoanalyst at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia. She has additionally received specialty training in a variety of other therapy modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy and interpersonal therapy. She received the Austin Riggs Award for Excellence in Psychotherapy for her commitment to and distinction in psychotherapy as a resident physician.

Dr. Paskell treats a broad range of conditions including depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders and anxiety-related disorders, such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive spectrum. Given her interest in psychotherapy, she approaches patients from a holistic and developmental perspective. She works together with the patient to understand the individualized meaning behind symptoms through psychotherapy, with use of medication when appropriate.
